Welcome to The Broadacre Hotel, New Romney
Barbara Smith, who has been propriertress for 27 years, family and staff aim to providea pleasant and friendly atmosphere to allguests during their stay at the hotel.
The hotel is situated in a quiet street parallel tothe high street of New Romney. Originally built as a farmhouse, the main entrance and six of the nine bedrooms are believed to have been built in the 17th Century. The remaining three bedrooms, in a converted cottage, and the restaurant, date from the 1860’s.
Once known as The Gables, it was used as a country club, before becoming a hotel.
The single storey addition added early in the 20th century was an estate agents, this is now used as
the bar.
